Rumwolf

Rumwolf is a multi-disciplinary visual installation artist, musician and filmmaker based in the Ozarks. His practice focuses on the relationship between art, emotion and technology expressed through themes of humor, pop culture and nostalgia. He often works using his large collection of pop culture ephemera, combing found objects with modern installation techniques such as video art and projection mapping. He also works in traditional mediums including painting, wood sculpture, illustration, and animation. Professionally he works as a designer, producer, director, and production specialist in the live performance art field. Recently he produced the 2022 Black Apple Awards for Idle Class Magazine where he also contributed as an artist and co-curator. He has collaborated as an artist, projection designer, technical director and production manager with the Momentary, Walton Art Center, Crystal Bridges, Interform, Fayetteville Roots Fest and more. He is currently an artist in residence at CACHE Artist Studios in downtown Bentonville where he frequently showcases his work at open studios and other events. He also maintains a “Maker in Residency” at the Amazeum Interactive Children’s Museum. He lives in Bentonville with his wife and daughter.
