Raised in Fayetteville, AR, Chloe is a photographer currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. She uses photography and collage to understand the relationship between the body, the natural world, and the animal world. She holds a BFA in Studio Art from Georgetown University and is currently pursuing her MFA at the University of Hartford.
Five years working in the fashion industry, @alexandermcqueen, @r13, @helmutlang, has given Chloe an understanding of how the body is gendered and communicated through contemporary imagery.
Her current work began in Summer 2020, when she returned to her childhood home and began excavating memories fueled by family stories. They remembered Chloe as ‘more squirrel than girl’ which has become a repeated theme in her work.
